Account Director

We are looking for an experienced Account Director to join our client services team at Guerilla.

You will have at least five years working in an agency environment and will be fully knowledgeable on all types of media and marketing planning. In the past, you will have managed and directed a range of accounts, both large and small and have experience managing a team of Account Managers and Executives.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must, and you will be well organised and be able to work in a busy and dynamic environment. This role is suitable for someone who is about team work, likes a challenge, and most importantly loves creative strategy.

Senior Web Developer

We are looking for a committed and skilled senior web developer to add to the Guerilla core digital team.

You will need to be able to handle various types of web media projects from small to medium websites and also to support the rest of the team in the development of large scale, high profile projects.

You will need to possess knowledge of architectural aspects of web development. You will be a competent developer in XHTML & CSS, with an exceptional knowledge of PHP and server side technologies. You will be expected to work with our designers to carry out full website builds from design stage to completion.

As a member of the development team, you will work closely with web designers and account handlers to meet the project requirements, and therefore your ability to communicate effectively is important. This is a great opportunity to work within one of the region’s leading full service agencies.

Skills & Qualifications

Suitable candidates will have:

  • A degree in a relevant discipline
  • Proven commercial experience of web development is essential with a portfolio of past work
  • A thorough working knowledge of XHTML, XML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP5 and MySQL is essential
  • Experience with public APIs such as Flickr, Google maps or Facebook
  • Knowledge of the LAMP stack would be advantageous although not essential
  • A sound understanding of programming methodologies such as MVC frameworks
  • The ability to work unsupervised or as part of a team.
