Bh2Brand & Website

Savills approached Guerilla, after successfully creating the brand, to design and develop a responsive website for the new Bh2 leisure complex. This £50m leisure complex is said to be the “most exciting” development of its kind in Bournemouth for over a decade.  

The brand we produced back in January of 2016 was designed to be playful, confident, friendly and youthful – just like the centre itself. We looked at all angles of brand (remember…it’s not just about the logo!) We developed signage, press adverts and campaign messages to not only construct a picture for the client, but to truly test our vision. Following this, it was time to take a look at the website…

The Website Brief

The website needed to functional, easy to use and flexible – allowing the client to find everything they need, when they need it within the CMS. The site needed to react and adapt to the changing nature of a leisure destination, with the ability to add new tenants, offers and events without compromising the aesthetics of the site. Another key element for the client was the inclusion of live cinema listings, allowing users to easily book tickets for the showings. 


Our challenge was to deliver an online presence that reflects the friendly and vibrant personality of the brand. Large, bold imagery was carefully used throughout the site to help invoke joyful emotions in the audience whilst displaying what is on offer at the leisure centre. A great looking website was just part of the solution. The website also needed to be easily usable and have a consistent feeling over a range of devices such as mobiles.


As you can see, it is not only a beautiful website but also provides an array of functionality and information to the user, and the client is extremely happy with the results.

We couldn’t be happier with the website that Guerilla have created. Their high quality design and has captured the brand and matched our brief perfectly. Communication was slick throughout the whole process and Guerilla were extremely easy to work with, making our vision into a reality better than we could have ever expected.

With just one click from the cinema page the user is transported to Odeon to book their chosen ticket. The user experience is friendly, allowing ease of movement around the website to help users find the information they want. Plus, stats are showing the sites SEO friendly nature is working with over 15,000 users and 21,000 sessions since it launched in February. Visit the Bh2 website.
